Welcome to Catherine Brennand (RI)

 

Catherine Brennand (1961 – 2006) was an acclaimed English water colour artist and, from 1991, a prominent member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours. www.royalinstituteofpaintersinwatercolours.org.uk
  
During her short career she completed over 900 works of predominantly paintings of buildings in Britain, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Malta, Spain and the USA.  Some of these were also used to publish a series of fine art prints.
 
Her work fostered a loyal following and she was regularly commissioned by individuals and companies to paint both private residences and commercial properties.

Architecture 11th February - 25th March 2012
 
In February and March, Shire Hall Gallery, Stafford is exhibiting a set of six specially commissioned paintings by Catherine, depicting industrial scenes in the County of Staffordshire. 
 
This is the first time that these works will have appeared on public display.

Work on a second book of Catherine's work entitled, London's West End; Jermyn Street and Bond Street by Catherine Brennand, is in its final production stage. Publication is planned for September 2012.
