During her short career she completed over 900 works of predominantly paintings of buildings in Britain, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Malta, Spain and the USA.  Some of these were also used to publish a series of fine art prints.

Her work fostered a loyal following and she was regularly commissioned by individuals and companies to paint both private residences and commercial properties.

The RI - 200th Exhibition

To celebrate the 200th exhibition of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour the official programme for the 2012 Exhibition - which finished on the 25th March - featured Catherine's depiction of 195 Piccadilly on its cover.

From 1831 this building was the original home of the Royal Institute of Painters of Watercolour and remained so until 1970 when the lease expired. At that point the RI joined several other leading art societies under the banner of the Federation of British Artists and moved to the Mall Galleries from where they continue to operate.

Catherine's painting was commissioned in 1993 by Ivory Gate UK who at that time owned 195 Piccadilly. It is currently home to BAFTA.

Work on a second book of Catherine's work entitled, London's West End; Jermyn Street and Bond Street by Catherine Brennand, is in its final production stage. Publication is planned for September 2012.
